Catching Up Time

China limits internet access and after I arrived I quickly found out that I was prevented from posting to this blog.  Eventually, I became aware of the person who would help me navigate the firewall and alas, I am back on track.

The last week has been overall a great adventure.  The food is delicious but muh more oily than I am used to eating.  The salt content is high and raw vegetables are not common with meals.  My American food has been limited but I have eaten a cold cut sandwhich and pizza.  My days have been filled with class in the morning and exploring in the afternoon.  The exploring consists of 1pm-9pm walking around Beijing, sight seeing, and soaking up the experience.  I am exhausted yet feel like there is so much left to see.

One highlight is the tailored suit I bought.  I actually purchased 2 suits along with several friends.  It was a great expereience.  I picked out the fabric, was measured, and today was my fitting.  I am super excited to acquire this essential lawyer outfit and look forward to showing you all what I got.  We pick up the final product this weekend.

Sunday is our trip to the Great Wall, Olympic park, and an acrobatics show.  More to come on that later.
